In 1946 appears an instruction on the road marking which imposes to the various manufacturers homogeneity and coherence. No more question of advertising mentions on roadsigns and obligation to produce signals corresponding to the defined statutory models. Michelin continues nevertheless to produce its “borne d’angle”, the use of which is however more and more limited.

The number of categories and models of roadsigns is going to increase then considerably :

roadsigns of danger >

< roadsigns of intersection and priority

roadsigns of prescription >

Directional road marking >

< Limits of town, localities, streams

roadsigns of particular indications >

< The posts of war cemeteries
